Sour Gush HorizonTech 100K

If you grew up eating the sour, juice-filled candies this flavor is named after, you already know what to expect.

Sour Gush HorizonTech 100K runs on the HorizonTech 100K disposable vape platform, and it doesn’t dress the reference up.

It goes straight for that specific candy memory, sugar coating and all.

There’s no attempt to make it more sophisticated than it needs to be.

That directness is honestly most of the appeal.

What It Actually Tastes Like

The opening is sweet, almost syrupy, the way the candy itself starts out.

Then the sourness catches up a beat later.

It’s not an aggressive sour hit, more like the tang that lingers after biting into the real thing.

Fruity notes run underneath both layers without ever becoming identifiable as one specific fruit.

That vagueness is intentional. Candy flavors rarely map onto a single fruit anyway.

It reads as candy first and fruit a distant second, which is exactly the point.

Why This One Works as a Vape

Recreating a candy flavor in vapor form is trickier than it sounds.

Sugar and texture do a lot of the work in the actual candy.

Neither of those exists in an e-liquid, so the flavor has to carry everything alone.

Sour Gush HorizonTech 100K leans on the sweet-then-sour sequence to do that job.

It’s the timing, more than the exact taste, that sells the illusion.

Device Snapshot

• E-Liquid Capacity: 40ml
• Coil: 0.8Ω Quad Mesh Coil
• Output: Up to 30W Regular / 40W Boost Mode
• Puff Count: Up to 100,000 Puffs

Every flavor in the 100K lineup runs on this same hardware.

Only the leather texture and the e-liquid change between collections.

Getting the Most Out of It

Give the coil a few minutes to settle before the first real session.

Shorter puffs at first let the sweet-to-sour transition come through clearly.

Boost Mode sharpens that sour finish; Regular Mode softens it slightly.

Neither mode changes the basic character of the flavor much.

Storage and Shelf Life

Keep the device upright and away from direct heat.

Sour candy flavors can shift unevenly if left somewhere warm.

A cool, stable spot helps keep the sweet-sour balance from drifting.

Keep the battery charged if the device sits unused for a while.

What Ships in the Box

Each order is one fully assembled, ready-to-vape device.

There are no separate pods, coils, or e-liquid bottles to track down.

It arrives pre-filled and pre-charged straight from the factory.

Always check the listing to see whether a USB-C cable is included.

Where This Flavor Sits in the Lineup

Sour Gush is one of five flavors in the Limited Edition collection.

It ships with its own leather texture, separate from the Original and Slush lines.

Customers who like this one often try Sour F*cking Fab next, for another bold option.

Both flavors lean into intensity rather than easing into it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Sour Gush HorizonTech 100K taste like a specific fruit?

Not really — it reads more like candy than any one fruit in particular.

That’s true to the actual candy it’s named after too.

Is the sour finish very strong?

It’s noticeable but not overwhelming, closer to a candy tang than a sour bomb.

Is the nicotine strength adjustable?

No, this device ships fixed at 50mg (5%) nicotine strength.

Why People Keep Buying It

Nostalgia does a lot of heavy lifting for this flavor.

Anyone who ate the candy version growing up gets an instant sense of familiarity.

That’s a hard thing to manufacture with a flavor that doesn’t already have a reference point.

Sour Gush HorizonTech 100K didn’t have to build that recognition from scratch.

It borrowed it, and the borrowing works in its favor.

Repeat buyers often mention the accuracy of the flavor as the reason they keep coming back.

Few disposable flavors nail a candy reference this specifically.

Most either go too abstract or lean too hard into artificial sweetness.

This one threads that needle better than most of its competitors.

It’s a small thing, but it’s the kind of detail longtime vapers notice immediately.

That attention to accuracy is why this flavor keeps its place in the lineup.
